I’m new to Decatur! My daughter took a job as a news director and moved here and...asked me to come! I moved here from Washington State! I do boarding and doggie daycare in my home. I also do some pet care visits at people's homes, and dog walking services. I'm active and love the outdoors so....I take lots of walks! About this sitter: I had a licensed pet care business for years, because of my love of animals. I have also been taking in strays for 40+ years now, neutering/spaying, and then finding them good homes. For the past 15 years, I have been providing pet care visits at people's homes when they travel; dog walking services; and an overnight sitter (my grown daughter) when you want someone to stay in your home, instead. For the past four years, however, I mostly provide doggie daycare; and boarding at my home. I still do the other services, depending on location and circumstances. I did a Master's degree in Teaching and a Bachelor's in Business Admin & Accounting. .I even went to Law School. :) This is something I enjoy....taking good of your pets when you can't be there, and giving families peace of mind so they can enjoy their vacations.....or focus, when on business trips. I usually care for dogs and cats but have also cared for many other animals, like chickens, snakes, birds, turtles, and a few other farm animals.
