Pet care experience
I'm doing Rover to help make money to pay for veterinary school, so your business really helps! A little about me: I’ve taken care of healthy dogs from puppies to mastiffs since I was 16. I started caring for cats and senior dogs around 21. I have been working as a veterinary assistant in an emergency and critical care clinic for about 3 years now. I also groom and shave pets of friends and family in addition to my own. I am familiar with administering most medications. I would say I’m pretty good at handling difficult to pill dogs and cats. I’m also a huge fan of spicy kitties but would prefer a cuddly one. I can also do a nail trim if you would like and if your pet allows!

Wen was a great find. I have never hired a pet sitter before and was pretty anxious about it. I was so concerned about leaving my cats, especially since the oldest was recently diagnosed as diabetic and is on insulin. But Wen came ahead and made sure she knew what was needed, and that really helped. During my absence, she sent pictures and videos and talked over the phone when that was easier. I could see that all was well. When I returned, we resumed our routines quite easily. I will definitely use her again. Thanks, Wen!

I’m very accessible via text/call! For house sitting, I usually stay at your place overnight, try and follow their usual routine as best as possible. For boarding, I do have a small dog and a cat of my own and a fenced yard. Meet and greets are required for any bookings just to make sure everyone likes everyone! Also happy to discuss more details and expectations over the phone prior to a meet and greet!

Information Wen M. would like to know about your pet
I would like to know about your pets' medical history in case there is anything I should be wary of (ie: Cushings, heart disease, seizures, etc). I also would like to know how your pet does with other animals especially if it's a dog and we're going outside for walks/dog parks. Please tell me about things your pet especially likes, I want to make sure they're happy! Also please let me know if your pet tends to be on the naughty side and do mischievous things like open the fridge and eat things. But especially if they tend to ingest their toys, I don't want to make a trip to the ER for a foreign body obstruction!
A typical day
My own dogs don't play fetch so I LOVE playing fetch with other peoples' dogs. I'm more than happy to drive and take your dog to dog parks if that is something you're comfortable with. If your dog is more a prefer to chill at home and watch a movie, I'm more than happy to accommodate them.
