I'm a CT native, a visual artist and musician currently living on the central shoreline, college educated (BFA in Illustration 1990), an avid hiker, love the outdoors/nature and animals, and playing and writing music on the guitar is one of my major passions. I don't smoke and rarely drink, I'm health conscious, kindhearted, responsible and trustworthy. I'm available for dog and cat sitting and/or walking at your home in the shoreline area. I've had cat and dog companions all of my life and am sensitive to their needs. I sat overnight, walked and fed a clients large sized Terrier and everything went very smoothly. I feel the reasons why are: I’m very organized, like to plan ahead, anticipate any of the animal's needs and likely scenarios for the dog’s (or cat's) care. Being an avid hiker, I know of many public hiking locations and their trail systems well, along the shoreline (including Bauer Park, Westwoods Trails, Chatfield Hollow, Hammonassett, Stewart B. McKinney National Wildlife Refuge, etc.) and inland that are perfect for dog walks. I'll be happy to answer any questions you have in regards to me sitting your pet. References available upon request.
