Hello fellow furbaby parent! My name is Walter , (I go by my middle name Mark mostly) I'm a college graduate from the College of Charleston with a B.S. in Psychology. I work from home now mostly, which allows me to cultivate my real passion, loving doggos!!! I have owned 3 Labradors over the course of my life, all of whom have gone through AKC approved training classes (with myself as the primary caregiver for 2 of them) My current furbaby, Duke, is lab mix who is 100% trained and housebroken, and loves to play with his rubber pigs! I live at my home in Mount Pleasant, SC, right around the corner from Towne Centre. The home is on a plot of land that is just shy of a full acre. I have a large backyard and a large front yard. The neighborhood is VERY dog friendly, and my house has a full, non-separated fence that encompasses the entirety of the quite large backyard. A little bit about Duke and I... Duke is a rescue dog who I adopted back in early 2012. He was abused by his previous owner and was about to be taken to a kill-shelter until I took him in. Because of his previous abuse, I took him to professional training and socialization classes over the course of about 1 1/2 years, and because of that and his new loving environment, is a wonderful pup (i still call him pup). I'm experienced with aggressive animals, older animals, puppies, you name it. If you have special instructions/requests for your pet while in my care, I will be more than happy to oblige.
