Pet care experience
I have had pets my entire life. Beagles seem to tug at my heart more than any other breed. When living in SoCal, I volunteered for a beagle rescue in Southern California for many years. Having moved to Eureka, I continue to help them remotely by managing their Facebook page and promoting their dogs that are looking for their fur-ever homes. I have rescued many dogs in past, including seniors with special needs. Nothing like having a depressed and despondent rescue come into the house and become happy go lucky in two weeks. Moved from Southern California to Eureka in 2011 and haven't looked back. And after the passing of my spouse, moved to Texas. I own our home so we aren't going to be moving any time soon, and I do have reliable transportation to get me around town.
Reviews
Wally takes walks on the beach with his dogs, around the neighborhood, or dog park. They get plenty of exercise. Has a loving home, is patient, gentle, caring, understanding, & loves playing with any & all dogs. Makes sure their diet is well balanced & served on time. He is aware of any changes in eating, sleeping, or playing habits they may have. He keeps up with their health & medical needs. Wally is a special person, with a loving heart, & would be an asset to any dog/cat caregiver program.
Wally and I first met through the Beagle rescue group we volunteer with. I have personally witnessed Wally's dedication to helping animals and to giving them the very best and most loving care. My husband and I adopt senior dogs. They are family to us. I would always feel safe and confident putting them in Wally's excellent care. I know that he will treat them as he treats his own precious rescued dogs -- with the very best and most loving care.

I like to know if the dog has any aggression issues? Does your dog like other dogs or have a specific gender it doesn't get along with? (I know some boy dogs don't like other boy dogs. And some dogs prefer female sitters over male sitters.) No real breed preference but I do love small / medium dogs, and have a soft spot for hound dogs.
A typical day
Taking leisure walks in the neighbhoor. Generally avoid the dog park as you can never be sure what the other dogs will be like. Playing ball. Belly scritches.
