Pet care experience
I've been surrounded by dogs and cats since I was a kid. I've taken care of poodles, german shepherds, huskies, goldens, spanish waterdogs, cocker spaniels. And all in various environments (by themselves / around other pets, apartment in a city / house with a yard, on a walk / at a park, happy / grumpy). I've lived with roommates throughout college and my 20s, as well with past partners, and their pets truly became mine too. I gladly shared all responsibilities (including the less fun ones) because developing a friendship with a pet has always been a joyous experience. I'm excited to become buddies with your pup too!
Reviews
Vlad is a fantastic caretaker! Not only has he walked Luna(my Siberian husky) tons of times but also has babysat over weekends I've been away. For Husky parents out there we all know our dogs love to talk but Luna get extra excited anytime Vlad comes around. Luckily for us he also does well with her high energy and general huskyness.
Vlad is very good with pets. They get in love with him from the first meeting. Vlad knows how to make pets feel happy, he is taking a very good care of them.
About Vlad M.
Communication
Skills
Safety, trust & environment
I believe that communication is key. First and foremost, I will follow any instructions that you provide and make sure that you feel like your pup is safe. When in serious doubt, I ask questions. At the end of the day, no one knows better than you. I've always been comfortable around dogs I meet for the first time, and I'm sure they can sense that. I'm patient and take the time to understand how they're reacting to me and to the environment we're in.
Information Vlad M. would like to know about your pet
- Any behavioral aspects, physical restrictions, or anything else that I should be aware of so that your dog is at maximum safety and comfort - Does she or he play well with other dogs / any breeds that are best avoided? - Are you comfortable with your dog being at a dog park or do you prefer they get a walk? If yes to dog park, are they good with being off leash?
A typical day
I'm an active person and like going on walks (or occasionally on runs) with dogs I'm watching. And of course going to a nearby park is always fun! If the dog I'm watching plays well with other dogs, it's a good way for them to get out some energy and make friends. If not or if there aren't any dogs around, that's where a squishy frisbee or a ball comes into play! (pun intended)

Availability
I recently launched a start-up that has me outside talking to people pretty much all day, so my schedule is super flexible both on weekdays and weekends.
