I specialise in the care of dogs with behavioural issues, using positive reinforcement and reward-based training. My peaceful house with a fenced garden, bordered by acres of fields, is a stone's throw from Parc Slip Nature Reserve and several wooded areas - plenty of space for dogs which may be anxious or reactive. I am studying dog behaviour, so I'm at home all or most of the day; guest dogs can make themselves comfy without restriction, and are able to go outside to poke about in the garden whenever they want. I am fully qualified in canine first aid. I know how important it is to be kept informed when you entrust your furry friend to someone else - I aim to send photos and/or video footage so that you can enjoy your time away, knowing all is well. I take only one booking at a time due to the spicy nature of my canine clients. I’m very happy to meet you in advance of a booking to answer any queries and set your mind at rest. Rover provides a Guarantee and a 24/7 trust and safety line in case of an emergency. Collection and drop-off can be arranged for a reasonable additional fee.

I couldn't have been happier with my puppy's 4/5 day stay with Vivienne. She was really well looked after, lots of walks and regular updates throughout which was really appreciated. Can't recommend enough!

My peaceful house with a fenced garden, bordered by acres of fields, is a stone's throw from Parc Slip Nature Reserve and several wooded areas - plenty of space for dogs which may be anxious or reactive. I live a short drive from several beaches and dune reserves; I'm happy to transport your dog in the safety of my car, either in a crate or secured via the dog guard or safety belt attachment. I use a long lead to enable the furries to explore and play whilst still having them safely under control.

I like to hear about your dog's daily routine, it's habits and preferences - and quirks! It's always useful to know which commands it knows (and obeys) so that we're safe when we're out and about. No breed preferences.
A typical day
I aim to see a smile on a dog's face, so I make sure we go to stimulating natural environments like forests, mountains, dunes and beaches where dogs can sniff, play and enjoy themselves - in all weathers! I use a long lead to provide freedom with control. At home, dogs have access to the garden whenever they want, and indoor brain games if it's wet outside.

Pet care is my daily routine - my entire day is built around my canine guest so that they get all the love and attention they deserve. I offer a daily minimum of 2x 1hour walks, as well as 2 hours of active engagement (play, brain games), along with attention as and when needed.
