Pet care experience
I have been volunteering at Downey animal shelter for about a year now. I can say that I’ve gained much experience when it comes to dogs personalities and how to respond to their personal needs. Although personally I’ve owned one dog my whole life, she was very special to me and I always considered her my child, I felt that I wasn’t ready to own another dog. Then I started volunteering at an animal shelter and I try to care for as much dogs as I possibly can to give back for what everything my dog has done for me such as loving me in a manner that is absolutely pure and beautiful and something that is without a doubt worth giving back to the animal community.

As a friend of animals, Vivien cares about dogs more than humans sometimes. Taking care of my three elderly dogs (10-11-12 yr old Toy Poodles) couldn’t have been more easier for her. Making my dogs confortable while I’m gone is really important, and as elderly dogs they don’t really like strangers, but Vivien’s good energy and patience really won over my dogs. They consider her a part of the pack and only the best dog sitters are able to do that.

I do not have breed preferences although I would like to be informed if the dog has a history of abuse. That way I will know that this dog may or may not trust easy and I will be more cautious.
A typical day
I will take your dog to walk around the park to maybe socialize if your dog is the type to get along with others. I own a frisbee especially made for dogs that i believe most dogs should enjoy. If your dog is energetic I will throw on some exercise clothes and go for a run with your dog.
