PLEASE READ ALL 10!! 1. I work full time 8-6 M-F and cannot stay with your pet during the work day! I do like to check in on them with my cameras while I’m at work. 2. I am allergic to cats. 3. I have a foot injury that prevents me from providing extended activity. 15 to 20 minute walks are fine. 4. As house sitting is an overnight business, my hours are like a hotel - 4:00 p.m. until 11:00 a.m. There is some wiggle room we can discuss. 5. I am a dog foster mom. I MAY have fosters that may need to remain with me during the sit. If so, they are kept completely separate. We can discuss this detail. 6. If you have cameras, you must disclose them prior to sit. 7. My rate for each additional dog is $20. 8. BOARDING IN MY HOME: •. I will not take sick pets! If your dog develops a fever, pneumonia, vomiting, diarrhea or any other potentially contagious or life-threatening illness please take him to the vet and cancel the booking. •. Your dog/s must be house trained. •. I cannot afford to take destructive pups at this time. 9. Detailed communication is important! I will send you a checklist to sign that confirms we are clear on care, that you read that and this profile. *PLEASE SIGN IT. This verifies that you read the info. I will not sit for you if I do not have a signed copy of the checklist* 10. Thank you for paying the bill – but I work for the furry client. As long as you are ok with this we will get along fine! HISTORY: Animals have always been a HUGE part of my life. When I moved to WA I had to leave my sweetie Dita in Ohio with her Grandad as skunks are illegal here. It broke my heart, but Rover came to the rescue and now I have many wonderful dogs in my extended family! I am thrilled to share my experience and furry child addiction in such a positive way. So far, it is incredibly rewarding for all involved. Will this list include your family next? I hope so! My family raised miniature schnauzers for my first 16 years. In my 20s I moved on to riding/grooming horses. My 30s saw me trained by many small fur babies, during which I started honing my ability to reach understanding compromise on a level with them as equals. This frequently includes allowing them to tell me what they want to do - I consider this successful communication (also lots of fun). Many of these kids were rescues. I actively advocate the rescue of love - it will be the best "save" you ever make! Most recently I rescue skunks, and anyone that can successfully survive skunk ownership can do anything. MY SERVICE: In addition to my grooming and medical knowledge, I also like to send a "Dog Diary" every day with photos, so you know what is going on in the life of your pup. Some are in my Rover Reels. I enjoy the freedom of caring for your pet 1 on 1! I am flexible and was raised with a great work ethic and manners - I leave things in the same (or better) condition than I found them and this applies to your home as well. I will work with your schedule and have no problem adding additional related duties to my dog-sitting responsibilities. Book me - my weekly ration of doggie kisses is running low! * The meet 'n greet is an important way for both of us to determine if we are a fit without divulging personal information - like, you don't want some random loser to know where you live, right? And I need to feel sure that there are no bodies in your basement. Also, it lets us know that your pup and I are a fit! So lets meet soon! Why I love dog sitting What's not to love? Who can be stressed when there are doggie kisses? For a limited time I get a wonderful four-pawed best friend to love and learn from. The hardest thing is saying goodbye! Your pups are the highlight of my day and I try to cuddle with them as much as possible. I truly enjoy being shoved off the bed, told when I can eat and take them out etc. I'm extremely protective and do not allow off leash activities. I also discourage interaction with other dogs or humans. My home is very dog friendly, lots of cuddling required. That's all I can think of. Hope it helps - and have fun!
