Care for your dogs, cats &critters!
Pet care experience
Specializing in cats, small and senior dogs, and other species of household pets! An animal lover who grew up in a no-pets household, I've always jumped at the chance to care for other people’s pets, starting with Eddie the miniature schnauzer at age 10. In particular, I’ve become a go-to cat sitter for my extended social circle & hope I can be the same for you! As a cat foster parent of over 1.5 years, I’ve seen a lot of personalities and you can trust me to adapt to your pet’s unique needs. I’ve taken care of skittish dogs, pregnant mama cats and their newborn kittens & cats recovering from surgery or with minor medical issues. I also have experience with a variety of household pets and would love to look after your rabbit, bird, gecko, tarantula, backyard chickens, etc. Feel free to ask any questions and I look forward to meeting you and your furry (or scaly, or feathered) friend soon! :)
Reviews
Vita was amazing!!! We booked her for a whole week for cat sitting our two cats and everything went so so well. She really went above and beyond in taking care of the cats AND the house! We felt so good about leaving our cats with her while being gone for a while. Got lots of pictures, had great communication, and I totally trusted her if anything were to have come up. Book her!!
I would highly recommend Vita to anyone looking for a cat sitter. Last summer, I was out of town for an extended period of time and Vita was literally the best thing for my fur baby, Tito. She was able to take him during that extended period of time and immediately made him feel comfortable and at home. She also sent daily texts, photos, and videos of him. She fulfilled all of my food/snacks/water/litter requests. By the time it came to pick Tito up, he didn't even want to leave.
Vita is professional, friendly, and caring towards all animals. She has substituted for me on several occasions when my schedule couldn't accommodate a request. Her flexibility, good humor, and willingness to fill in for me was very helpful, and important for pet-sitting - pets can do unexpected things, and you have to roll with it!
Vita watched my cat earlier this year. She was strongly communicative, dependable, and flexible through this experience. I will certainly use her again in the future. I highly recommend Vita to anyone!
