Pet care experience
I've taken care of many types of pets, including dogs, cats, guinea pigs, and rabbits. I have trained my dog, Messi, as a puppy, and continue to teach and expose him to new and exciting doggie adventures (he has just started using speech buttons!). I love spending time with animals, from a short walk where they can sniff and explore, to a long day full of treats, tricks, and cuddles. I live in a pet-friendly apartment complex, where there is plenty of walking space for your pet to do their business as needed and explore new sites and smells. I only host one pet at a time to ensure your bundle of joy gets all the attention they deserve!

Virinca is not only a great sitter but a great human. I had an emergency (two weeks out of town when my dog sitter contracted appendicitis leaving my dog stranded and in need of a sitter) and Virinca swooped in, picked up my dog, kept me informed, and returned to me a happy, well fed dog (and even flexed the pickup time to allow me to pick up my dog after midnight on my day of return). I cannot recommend her enough. What a great experience. Thank you!
I had to go out of town for work short notice and needed someone to watch my dog, Widow. Virinca stepped in and did an absolutely amazing job. She was reliable, responsible, and took great care of Widow. I was impressed with her attention to detail and she sent updates on Widow. I can confidently say that Virinca exceeded my expectations and I would highly recommend her to anyone in need of a dog sitter.
Virinca has always done a fabulous job with my nervous pup, Tea Rose. She is patient, kind and great at communicating with me while I'm out of town! Highly recommend.
Virinca did a great job watching my dog. He is anxious around new people and Virinca was so accommodating in scheduling extra meet-and-greets before the stay so he could be more comfortable. Will definitely be asking Virinca to watch him again!

I am very leash and open-door conscious, as my family dog has the tendency to run off and explore on his own (you can say he trained me to be like this!). I have plenty of space for all your pet's belongings to keep them feeling connected to their home and pack. As a home without any pets or kids, there are no objects left lying around that might pique someone's interest. The apartment is very open with plenty of sunlight coming in and a minimalist-style decor-- all to keep your little buddy feeling luxurious during their stay.

Let me know what kind of dog your pup is. Is he energetic, greedy, cuddly? It would be helpful to know if there are any behaviors I should look out for both at home and during walks (e.g., going though trashcans or drinking out the toilet bowl). I would also need to know how friendly your dog is with other dogs, so I can act accordingly when going on walks. If your dog has a favorite toy/blanket/treat, please let me know so I can make their stay as comfortable as possible.
A typical day
Your pup will get a lot of attention and walk time around a large, pet-friendly apartment complex with lots of greenery. They will also get the opportunity to see cute critters (from a distance), such as squirrels, birds, and other pet dogs and cats. I love doing cognitive exercises with dogs to help expend any leftover energy of the day. I use fun dog puzzles and tricks & treats.

I work from home with a flexible schedule. I visit family on select weekends, but apart from that, I am available as needed. I enjoy taking daily walks-- especially with a curious companion! And I enjoy winding down the day with some thoughtful games and cozy TV-watching.
