Pet care experience
My family always had pets of many types and abilities until about 3 years ago. We have since found pet-sitting to be a great way to have a variety of pets around! I have an ever-growing heart for animals and a desire to earn a little extra as a stay-at-home-mom. Pets are incredibly therapeutic and welcome here. I have a flexible work-from-home schedule. There are some days when I am away from the home for 2-4 hour periods that I can inform you of before booking. While pets are welcome in our home, we also enjoy checking in on your pets in the place they call home while you are away. My flexible schedule allows me to drop in if you live nearby. Expect quick responses and regular photo updates. Please feel free to ask about anything not addressed in my profile.

Virginia and her girls are awesome with Tinker! Our pup has boarded with her on multiple occasions. Tinker is always excited to go right into the house and say hello to her favorite sitter. Virginia's rates are very affordable... no where near what boarding facilities cost. She is mindful of special instructions/care and gives regular updates with photos.

No breed, size or age restrictions, but must not be an: excessive barker, escape artist, chewer or indoors marker. Let's talk if a puppy is not fully house-trained yet. Must be semi-gentle around small children. Must be OK to remain in the kennel, garage, and/or yard if any of these habits are persistent during the stay.
A typical day
We typically only board animals from a single owner at a time to ensure full attention is given. Our home has plenty of fenced yard space and an extra large pet door to access the garage/yard as desired. Only small, low-shed animals are permitted on furniture-but floor cuddles are plentiful. We have a neighborhood park nearby for walks and I am willing to administer basic medications or treatments upon request. Also, my kids jump at the chance to give baths during an extended stay in exchange for tips.
