caring for your pup like I do mine!
Pet care experience
Availability (inclusive of travel time): M-F: Before 9AM; after 6PM. S, Su: All day, if booked in advance. I am a recent graduate of Barnard College, and have just moved out to East Williamsburg/Buswhick. Dogs have always felt like members of the family, and I will treat yours (&your home) with the respect and care I do my own. I've owned dogs--really all kinds of pets-- all my life. Growing up, my family volunteered to raise puppies to become service dogs for a non-profit, and recently raised a puppy from 8 weeks to three months for friends. I am particularly skilled at handling and training young dogs--I can help with house/crate training, socialisation, and walking on a leash. Your dog will come home happy and hopefully a little more well-mannered.
Reviews
Virginia was great, very reliable and provided great recaps each day! Really appreciated receiving photos while I was away. Would book again!
Virginia’s the best! super reliable and handles surprises very professionally. She’s our go to!
Virginia stopped in to take care of my cat for a few days while I was out of town. She was really responsive, very caring and went above and beyond while I was away. Would definitely book her again!
Virginia was excellent in the following ways: gentle, she listened intently as I talked to her about my dog and I trusted her 100%, which she lived up to! This was my first time with Rover and I’ll use her/Rover again and again because of my experience with Virginia!

Information Virginia G. would like to know about your pet
As much as you can tell me the better! Most importantly, it'd be great to know your dog's age and any behvioral problems and fears that may come up. If they have any favorite toys, games, a certain place that always needs itching, those are great things to know too! While I don't have any breed preferences, if you have for example a huge 100+ lb. dog that has bad leash manners (pulling and dragging you behind them), you should probably look into some more muscles sitters.
A typical day
I like walks that focus primarily in parks and nice wide open spaces where your dog will have to interact (politely!) with other passing dogs and families. I'll also work in some time on more crowded streets, for more crowded, chaotic socialisation.
