I have been helping with our family pets for as long as I can remember, and I have been watching neighborhood pet overnight since I was 10. Now at 21, I have volunteered in my local humane society for 3 years, and I consistently dog sit for families in Savannah, when I am home. I am looking to build these type of relationships here in Macon.

I live in Thomaston Crossing, a large apartment complex with a dog park and plenty of space to walk and play with your pup! Some of my best friends have dogs that they take to the dog park daily, and my roommate misses her dog from home so we would love to have a sweet dog running around! I do have an older cat, but he mostly does his own thing in my room and will play with dogs if he is feeling spunky.

Before watching your pet, I would like to know his/her energy level, if they are okay with cats, if they are good with other dogs, if they like the car, and what your expectations for while your pet is in my care are. I love all breeds of dogs, but I am very partial to mixes because that’s what my family dog was!
A typical day
I would love to have a reason to walk and explore downtown Macon, the various nature trails, and the Mercer Community. My friends also frequent the dog park with their dogs, so I would love to have as many doggie dates as they want! There is also a large fenced in area right downstairs from my apartment where I do homework so that your dog could enjoy the outdoors while I’m studying instead of being cooped up.

Availability
I am currently a full time student at Mercer University, however, I have a very relaxed schedule that gives me plenty of time to provide care for your pets! Mercer has a beautiful walkable campus that your pets could explore, and I am usually only in class for 2 hours consecutively so I have plenty of time for your pets! I am open to both flexible and long for long term set schedules.
