Home F/T! Devoted and Loving Care.

Pet care experience

Hi, I'm Ginny! Dogs have always been a huge part of my life and I have always enjoyed taking care of and training my pets. I am excited to have your dog stay with me and my family. We can go walking and play outside. I am happy to support and help you with any basic training needs or any issues you may have with your pet. Just ask! I am home full-time so I will be able to provide your dog with the care and attention he/she deserves while staying with me. Take a look at my photos to check out my home to see where your dog will be spending his/her doggy vacation. My home is near Surprise Stadium, is pet friendly and safe. My yard is fully fenced and almost 1/2 an acre! If your dog likes walks or playing ball, just let me know and we will do whatever he likes. I have miles of beautiful walking trails throughout my community. So if your dog loves his walk, we'll do that too! The overnight boarding price listed is for a 24 hour stay for a dog weighing up to 44 lbs. It would be an additional $5.00 for a dog weighing 45+ lbs. I offer discounts for multiple dog families. Puppy charges vary depending on the age and training level. **Please note my billing cycle runs for a 24 hour period. You may be billed an additional night if you run over your pickup time without making prior arrangements with me.** Having undergone advanced Rover screening, I have been met face-to-face and my home has been inspected. I can't wait to meet you and your dog! Why I love dog sitting For as long as I can remember! Dogs have always been an important part of my life, since my first dog as a small child. About my yard I have a huge fenced yard - all block wall so it's safe and secure. It's a very large yard, big enough to throw balls, frisbees....whatever your dog loves! If your dog enjoys the dog park he will love it here! I live in a beautiful community with miles of sidewalk! My experience administering medication Yes, I am comfortable administering oral, topical medications. I am experienced in administering injections as well and have several diabetic dogs I care for regularly.

We highly recommend the dog sitting service that Virginia provides. She is warm and caring and provides a high level of personal attention to the pups in her charge. Our sweet aging girl, Flurry, was diabetic and blind. Flurry loved Virginia and had no apprehension of being left there. Virginia was always thoughtful and conscientious in providing for Flurry’s unique needs, even when those needs became somewhat challenging. She provided updates and pictures to keep us informed. We knew Flurry was in loving hands and that meant everything to us.

We have had nothing but a great experience having our dog Shiloh stay with Ginny and family. Just as good as leaving our pup with a family member. Ginny treats her just like part of her family, down to letting her sleep in her bedroom. We will continue using Ginny for our sitter when we travel out of town. Thanks for all the great service!

Information Virginia A. would like to know about your pet

I would like to know about his/her schedule, his/her ability to get along with other animals, and how much exercise he/she needs? Is he housebroke? What commands do you use so we can be consistent? How does he let you know he has to go potty? Does he chew? Does he have food or particular toy agression? If he/she has any fears, i.e. thunder, loud noises, other dogs. Basically, anything you would like to discuss so that I can provide the best care possible. Be as honest as you can with me. If your dog is not housebroke, chews or might have other issues, it is not a problem unless I am not aware of it. If I know there is a potential for it, I can be mindful of it and minimize the problem.
