Hello and welcome! I am Virgie, your Pet Nanny! I I treat your furry family member just as my own. I pride myself in being an attetentive caretaker. I want your beloved pet to feel comfortable, confident and loved while in my care. My love for cats and dogs started when I got my first puppy at 4 years old. Since then I have had the pleasure of owning 5 cats and 5 dogs and carrying for many as well as gaining experience from volunteering at shelters. As a dog lover i have worked with many breeds and all sizes. I am a self taught care taker but I take understanding dogs very seriously. Our relationship with our dogs determines their behaviors, confidence and safety. I have taken upon myself to learn basic training and dog behavior. As your dogs nanny my goal is to make sure they feel safe, comfortable and have fun. For those who just need hugs and a friend to sit with, well I love doing that too! I will ensure that your pup has soulfulventures while with me. We can go on outdoor adventures and indoor adventures (for those permitted) like dog friendly shopping or dining. We can even negotiate extra fees if you would like me to take them to any appointments like grooming, vet visits or training. When your pup is in my care they will not only receive basic care like feeding and walks I will provide play lots of play time, affection, car rides and outings for those allowed as well as basic bathing if needed. If you are here on vacation and need care for your pets at your airbnb, hotel or vacation rental, need pick up or drop off, please let me know and we can negotiate prices. Please let me know of any special or specific needs of your dogs like treats, feeding schedules, diet restrictions, medications, fears, behaviors, energy levels, abilities or disabilities, favorite activities or anything else they may need. I do have experience with senior dogs and giving oral medication as well as taking care of dogs who have little or no vision. Currently I have a 11 pound mini schnauzer named Feliz. And although she is dog and cat friendly (she has had two cat siblings) I am only boarding small dogs in my home at this time. She plays better with small dogs and our condo accommodates smaller dogs better. For those looking for walks only and are open to it, Feliz does enjoy joining and can be present for a meet and greet prior to walks. My fees include cost for meet and greets, and attentive pet care. My schedule will solely revolve around your pets needs. I go above and beyond your pets basic needs. Whether your pet is being walked, boarded in my home or yours or I'm just dropping in, they will have a loving and enjoyable experience. And yes! I will provide as much photos and updates as desired!
