Pet care experience
I have years of experience taking care of dogs of all ages and types including my own family's yellow lab and two yorkshire terriers. I have been my friend circle's go-to dogsitter for extended periods of time up to a few weeks. The type of animal I would love to sit would be a puppy, young, or adult dog that requires some hands on love and training, is malleable to meeting new people and animals around the city, and is in good health for spirited walks/runs around the city but just as comfortable, simply to lay on the couch and watch college basketball all weekend. I'm breed and size agnostic, however, I live in a cozy 2 bedroom apartment so a very hyper large (80+ pounds) would not be a great match for the dog.

Vipin is an amazing dog sitter! He was more than willing to meet my dog before booking with him, and just made just Flash got used to him. He also was super accommodating with my pick up/drop off times, and it was pretty easy to schedule the drop off and pick up. Vipin also sent me photos and updates through out the day, which I appreciated. I will definitely be using him again!
Vipin watched Zoey for 6 days for us and it went great! He was very responsive, took good care of Zoey and sent us tons of pictures while we were away. He knew exactly what he was doing, asked tons of questions and Zoey was happy staying with him. The building he is in also had a dog run on his floor which is a great outdoor area for tiring the dogs while they play with other dogs in the building. Overall this was a perfect place to leave our dog and a I highly recommend Vipin.
Vipin has been great in watching Doc! Very communicative, sends pictures, let me know what they were doing, lots of walks, etc. - it was clear that Doc had a great time with him. I have used Vipin multiple times now and would definitely recommend him to anyone. Doc knows when we get close to Vipin's place and always gets excited. I'll definitely use Vipin in the future!
As someone who has grown up with dogs, Vipin has a wealth of knowledge in caring for animals—so much so, we turned to him to teach our own puppy how to walk down stairs (something our dog was very scared of doing for several months). Ever since that bonding moment, our dog and Vipin have been the best of friends; we wouldn't think twice before asking Vipin to dogsit for us. He's incredibly responsible and trustworthy and will go above and beyond to ensure your pet is happy and having fun. (Just look to all his fur-covered clothes for proof!)

I have no breed preferences though a dog that shows minimal to no aggression towards other dogs would be preferred as the building is filled with curious, friendly pups. Minimal shedding would also be preferred but have no qualms about cleaning up after a husky or lab (have experienced both in terms of shedding).
A typical day
I live in LIC so I have an abundance of parks, walking paths, and beautiful urban scenery abound. My apartment building has tons of dogs with a rooftop dog run for any pup to play and relieve themselves - plus my specific unit has a large 1200 sq. ft. semi-private patio where we can hang out in the sun, bbq together, and run around a bit.
