Pet care experience
With over 3 years of experience, I have cared for many breeds, from 120lb Cane Corsos to 6lb chihuahuas. This also includes all kinds of temperaments, and I am especially prepared to care for reactive and/or aggressive dogs (including multi-dog households) and dogs with separation anxiety. I am experienced with puppies under the age of 1 year, and seniors up to the age of 16. I have cared for blind and deaf dogs. I am K-9 First Aide certified and am able to administer medication orally & via injections. I am Fear Free certified. I also have experience with cats, small animals/rodents, chicken flocks, and reptiles.

My pup has anxious tendencies and Violet showed the necessary patience and devotion to build a bond with her, and ensure she was comfortable. I am extremely pleased with how communicative Violet was while I was away, and coming home to a happy dog with her tail wagging told me Violet understood the assignment!
Violet was great. She provided great care with Ford. He enjoyed her company and we will certainly reach out when the need occurs again.
Great communicator and very capable with our dog that can be unfriendly to strangers. Thankful for the meet and greet and she was understanding of a last minute schedule change.

I will treat your home and pets with the utmost care and respect, as I know there is a great amount of trust involved. As well as keeping the house safe and locked, I can crate dogs as needed and create a calm environment. I am also K-9 First Aide and Fear Free certified.

Please let me know if your pet(s) have any special needs or behavioral issues (reactivity, aggression, etc.). While “the worst” has never happened on my watch, I would rather be prepared for it than not. If your dog has a history of reactivity and/or aggression, I require a meet and greet before booking and a trial run to ensure everyone is safe and comfortable.
A typical day
I value physical exercise and love to take dogs on brisk walks or private parks to run, but I value mental exercise highly. This could mean puzzle toys, lick mats or stuffed Kongs (allergies taken into consideration) walks where dogs can sniff all they want, and stimulating play time.

Availability
I work dog-sitting around my school and work schedule. I will be home with your dogs far more often than not, but from Sept-May I have classes 3x/week. I may step out for a few hours to run errands and care for my own pets at home.
