Dog behaviorist, Vet Tech

Pet care experience

Hello! My names Violet and I'm currently looking to play with your pups! I am working as a Veterinary Technician at an awesome animal hospital in downtown Vancouver. Currently studying and soon to be completely licensed for veterinary technician. I am quite knowledgeable with the health and behavior of our four legged friends. I have been a tech for about 2 years but have worked with animals for 11. I worked with a local humane society for 5 years, walking and taking care of the dogs. I currently train my own 3 dogs for the sport of agility and simple obedience/heelwork. I am very aware of dog body language and behavior. I work very well with scared and nervous dogs all the way to high strung and "hand full" dogs. I also offer pet nail trims and ear cleanings for an additional price. Nail trims: $5 Ear cleaning: $10 If you have any additional questions feel free to reach out to me! Hope to meet your furry family soon!!

I am very impressed with Violet's training abilities. She has very well behaved shepherd mixes: socialized, manners, follow commands, and pay attention to her at all times. Frequently she is asked by people in the street if she is dog trainer as her multiple pets what next to her. She is a fun of and executes positive reinforcement very well. She is a great Veterinary Assistant in my hospital. I would certainly trust her to provide a safe experience walking canines.

If you want someone that cares about your pet as much as you do, choose Violet. If you want someone who can recognize your pets needs, choose Violet. If you want someone that will keep your pet safe, choose Violet. If you want someone that loves and works with pets everyday, choose Violet. If you think your pet deserves the best, then the choice is easy!

Violet embodies what it means to be a good person and has a deep love for all animals; as proven by her career choice in the veterinary field. She is a very responsible and attentive person who treats my animals as if they were her own. I trust Violet to care for all of my pets without question.

Violet is a true animal lover. She cared for and rescued animals from the time she could walk. She took 3 little feral kittens and within 6 months had them living in our home. She has saved so many birds, geese, rabbits, etc. She has a heart of gold and dogs are her all time favorite. She has trained all 3 of our dogs and her care for them is exceptional. She is very responsible and reliable. She works as a veterinarian technician for 2 years now and loves her job.

Information Violet L. would like to know about your pet

A general idea on your dog's personality, things he/she is compatible with, fears, behavioral issues, etc. Breeds I typically enjoy dealing with and are knowledgeable of are working breeds/high energy. German Shepherds, Dobermans, Belgian Malinois, Border Collies, Aussies, Cattle dogs Corgi, Shepherds, Pointers, Setters, ETC. I do also give extra love to the "slow pokes". All around love for all.

A typical day

I love to go on nature walks. There are many areas I can take your puppers, like Lacamas and Round Lake, Cape Horn trail, etc. Depending on what your dog likes we can engage in fetch, swimming (when its warm out), tug of war or even digging for moles. If your dog is good with other dogs I can take them to the 192nd dog park in Vancouver.
