First of all, I grew up surrounded by pets as my “brothers and sisters” if you were to say. Throughout my life, my pets have consisted of dogs, cats, rabbits, fish, hamsters, mice, etc. I owned a white Teacup Maltese named Kush for over 10 years, who has since passed. Kush was actually my United Stated Service Dog for PTSD and anxiety symptoms. Owning Kush, and participating in the growth and maturity of his life, I have become infatuated with dogs and animals in general. I have had the ability to connect and relate to animals, especially dogs, to a different extent, in which has provided me the obligation to love, nurture, and learn more about them. I will always treat dogs as they treat us, with loyalty and companionship.
