My name is Vicki. I am a 42 year old woman who moved from Long Island, New York to Brooksville, Florida. I am looking to build up a steady pet-sitting/dog-walking clientele here in FL as I had in NY. I've been in this business for over 25 years and can't imagine doing anything else! I pet-sit as a full time job so I have plenty of time to care for your fur babies! I am a certified Veterinary Assistant so I am knowledgeable in Pet First Aid, Pet CPR and giving all types of medications. I can provide a copy of my certification if requested. I consider myself very experienced with shy/timid, "not so friendly" and "hard to handle" types of dogs and cats. I also spent 10 years as a professional pet groomer so I can groom your dog during visits if requested. Right now, I am only grooming small dogs under 30lbs. The price is $60 which includes a bath, haircut, nail clipping, ear cleaning and anal gland expression. There are some before & after grooming pictures in my gallery. My "drop in" visits typically include walks, feeding/meds, play time, brushing, litter box changes, etc. I will also clean/feed small animals, birds, reptiles and fish if you have them at no extra charge. If requested, I can also take in your mail/water indoor plants/alternate lights while you're away. If you have other requests not listed here, feel free to ask.

Vicki took care of my four cats while I was away for a wedding. She did a great job! It was a relief to know that my cats would be well taken care of. She made sure they never ran out of food & water and kept the litter boxes clean. I loved that she sent me pictures of them as well, my one cat took to following her around as she made the rounds filling food & water bowls and cleaning litter boxes. I would highly recommend Vicki to anyone looking for a pet sitter. I know she has a lot of experience with dogs mostly, but is equally comfortable with cats, and over her many years of grooming, assisting in veterinary offices, and pet-sitting, she is very knowledgeable in all things pet-care related, definitely everything you would be looking for in a pet-sitter!

I’ve known Vicki for years, she has always taken such great care of Sophie & Oreo. It’s hard to trust your fur-babies with anyone, but Vicki made it simple with all her years of experience and knowledge but most of all her caring and huge heart for all animals. Vicki is an amazing dog sitter and literally the ONLY person I would leave my dog with!! I’ve had my dog for four years and we never went away all together as a family because I did not have anyone to watch my dog. Vicki was the first person I trusted to leave my dog with for a week and half and it was great! She sent me pictures and updates all the time which made me feel so much better to know that everything was ok!

If you have an active, playful pet, playing with their favorite toy(s), throwing the ball around in the yard or a jog around the neighborhood would most likely be on the agenda but if you have a lap dog/cat, shy or senior pet, I'll be more than happy to just spend some time with them; maybe watching some TV, giving lots of pets or sitting in the yard getting some fresh air.
