Hello everyone, I have been a pet sitter for over 7 years. I currently live in Madera, CA with my husband. I am a special education teacher and provide home instruction services for children who are severely disabled. Little bit of my dog sitting history: I have been a pet sitter for over 5 families; some families I still get contacted during holidays, others use my services occasionally/overnight. I have cared for older pups and puppies of small and large breeds. I can administer medication, take them for walks, play, feed, bathe, and clean up after them. I have a huge heart when it comes to animals and I have absolutely loved the experience on all my jobs! I a non-smoker, safe driver, responsible, and trustworthy person. I have had the opportunity to be around dogs all my life. Before I became a dog sitter, I used to volunteer my time taking care of animals that were left on the street. I have fostered dogs and rehomed dogs in the past. I am currently the administrator of one Facebook animal group in Madera, CA and foster through the SPCA of Fresno. I also am passionate with spaying and neutering dogs. Some of the many services that I have offered and will continue to offer include: Dog walking for your dog while you're at work, taking your dog for a long, healthy run or doggie hike, daily pet sitting visits to your home to check on your pets while you're on vacation or out of town on business trips, and taking your pets to vet, groomer, and other appointments. I have also provided overnight pet sitting in homes, with your pet, organized group dog walks, and play time at the dog park. My most current service that I provide is boarding at my house in Madera. The dogs are allowed indoors and outdoors and do not stay in kennels unless owners request. I have loved house sitting and providing other services because unlike traditional kennels, I am able to visit your pets in your home, maintaining your routine as much as possible. I believe that hiring a professional to care for your pets gives you peace of mind knowing your best friends are in competent, loving hands. Although you may not be around, your pets are able to feel secure in their own home, with the surroundings that they have become accustomed to. The breeds I have taken care of include: Great Danes, Brussels Griffon, Lhasa Apso, Chihuahua, English Bulldog, Boston Terrier, Golden Retriever, Short Wire Terrier, Labrador Mix, German Shepard, Beagles, Dachshund, Labradoodle, Bichon Frise, and Chiweenie. I have been in contact with many other breeds. I have helped families with crate training, puppies, and even dogs with special needs. Why I love dog sitting I have been a dog lover all my life. My family exposed me to animals since I was a baby. When I was young, I remember using my allowance money on stray dogs that would wander to my house. Living in the country has prepared me to care for animals, since people abandon their pets during the summers. I have always begged for my mother to keep the dogs until we could find them a home. Dogs have always been my favorite animals. Before I began pet sitting for families online, I used to take care of neighbors and family friend's pets. My experience administering medication I have experience giving eye, skin, and oral medication.
