Thank you for visiting our page. Our names are Victoria and Rishi. We are a husband and wife duo that loves animals of all kinds. Victoria was a certified Veterinary Assistant for over 12 years with both general and emergency veterinary hospitals. She has the ability to care for senior and disabled pets of all types. Victoria feels comfortable administering all kinds of medications that your pet may need, from oral, topical, or injectable. Rishi, an animal lover his whole life, is a dedicated cuddler. He provides comfort and compassion and loves being surrounded by dogs. At Serene Critter care we offer dog boarding and daycare. During their visit, your pet will be in a loving and fun environment. When you board with us, you can expect the best care for your loved one. They will be treated like our own with respect, compassion and love. We ask that your pet is current on their vaccines and flea prevention. We are available full time to care for your dog in our home. We are very flexible and are able to accommodate your busy schedule. Neither of us have other jobs, we have been full-time Rover sitters for the last 4 years. With 300+ 5-star reviews and 150+ repeat customers, we are by far the most experienced sitters in all of Lansing! Your dog will enjoy play and social time with our four dogs and our other guests. At Serene Critter Care, your dog will make themselves at home with full access to our living area, and frequent trips to our fenced-in back yard. You can trust that your pet will be treated like family here. We DO accept: - Friendly, playful dogs that enjoy being around other pups - Quiet, happy dogs that like to cuddle on the couch - Elderly dogs that like to nap all day and might need medication or extra care We DO NOT accept: - Breeds with dangerous bites (Pitbull, Rottweiler, etc) - Guard dogs, attack dogs or intimidating dogs (German Shepherd etc) - Dogs with any history of aggression or bites - Dogs over 40ish pounds - Destructive dogs (cable/shoe/couch chewing, destroying my house, etc) - Excessively loud dogs - Night barkers - Dogs that might hop our 3.5 foot fence

I loved brining Benji here every Wednesday in these last weeks, he always had such a great time and came home pooped from playing! I was happy they were able to accommodate such a high energy puppy, and that he had other puppy pals to play with during his visits. Thank you for taking such good care of Benji, will definitely be back!
It was so convenient having Victoria and Rishi watch our Pepper over Easter weekend. She seemed to have a blast with all her pack buddies while we were on vacation- even got to go on a couple nature walks! We were nervous never having used Rover, but we will definitely leave her with R. and V. again. Thanks for being Pepper's home away from home!
I love that my dog is taken in as part of their family! She gets to have a vacation with a pack while I am away. Highly recommended!

Dogs share our living area with us, just like they probably do at your home. They have full access to our living room, dining room and kitchen. We also have a bedroom on the first floor that is dog-safe with only blankets and kennels inside. We are very selective with our clientele and only accept dogs that are safe around other dogs.

Dogs must have a current rabies vaccination, flea preventative and Bordetella vaccine We DO accept: - Friendly, playful dogs that enjoy being around other pups - Quiet, happy dogs that like to cuddle on the couch - Elderly dogs that like to nap all day and might need medication or extra care We DO NOT accept: - Breeds with dangerous bites (Pitbull, Rottweiler, etc) - Guard dogs, attack dogs or intimidating dogs (German Shepherd etc) - Dogs with any history of aggression or bites - Dogs over 40ish pounds - Destructive dogs (cable/shoe/couch chewing, destroying my house, etc) - Excessively loud dogs - Night barkers - Dogs that might hop our 3.5 foot fence *********************************************************************************
A typical day
Your pet will have access to our toy-filled living area where they will play all day with other well mannered dogs. We love having dogs on the couch and offer all day cuddles and lap time. The dogs are allowed outside for monitored potty breaks several times a day. If your dog prefers to sleep in a kennel at night then we ask that you bring it with you when you drop them off, as we do not have any guest kennels. Your dog will generally be in the kennel only for feeding time and bed time; the rest of the day will be like a fun vacation for your dog.
