Pet care experience
I'm a veterinarian who absolutely loves taking care of dogs and cats in my free time. I would love to take care of your pet and give you that peace of mind while you are gone. There's nothing better than knowing your fur babies are in the best hands while you are away. I was a pet sitter all through veterinary school. Since I have graduated, I have found I miss it. I have a wealth of knowledge when it comes to pet care. Including but not limited to giving/administering difficult medications, post operative care, and dietary restrictions.

We (fur kids and their humans) cannot say enough good things about Tori (Victoria)! We were fortunate to have her recommended by a friend when that person was unable to house and pet-sit for us. That was the beginning of a great relationship. Victoria was everything we could ask for in a dog (and more) caregiver. She was always responsible, reliable, trustworthy, communicative (we are a bit obsessed and requested regular photos and updates), and best of all, our kids love her! Knowing that our fur kids (not to mention the others besides the dogs) and home were in her care made it possible for us to relax when away. We are happy for her that her career moved her out of our area, but sad to lose her as a local dog caregiver and friend.

I currently do not have any pets. I lost my dog to hemangiosarcoma earlier this year, so I am not ready to adopt another of my own. However, I would love to help you take care of your pets by giving them the most love and attention possible. I can feed them, give any medications needed, and walk them. It's really up to you! I am versatile and willing to work with you and your pets needs.

I would like to know any special behavioral quirks. Does your pet enjoy playing with dog toys? Is your pet allowed to have small amounts of human food, or are they on a special diet? I would like to know if your dog is dog friendly, or dog selective. I would like to know what kind of activities your dog enjoys the most so I can cater our time spent together to their specific likes. I need to know if your dog has any medical conditions like diabetes, if so we can organize their medication times together. In summary, I love to know any details about your dog that will make our time spent together the most positive experience it can be for them.
A typical day
I love to take them to local parks. If you're dog is a swimmer I can find a place to take them to swim as well. We can also go to the dog park if your dog is up to date on vaccinations and dog friendly. I love to take dogs on car rides to get puppychinos. All activities will be previously agreed on with you as the owner. I will only take your dog where they are comfortable.

Availability
I am a public health veterinarian for the United States Department of Agriculture, and I currently work in the evenings (3:15pm to about 12:15am) so I am available for dog walks and potty breaks in the morning and afternoons. I am also willing and available for house sitting and overnight stays if I am within 30 miles from work.
