Hi! I'm Victoria and I'm a college student studying to be a veterinarian. In addition to dog walking and pet-sitting, I've also volunteered and worked at animal hospitals and care facilities in NC, MD and Washington, D.C. I also worked at a horse farm for five years and have my own cat, Alice. I know how to recognize signs of apprehension or aggression in dogs, cats and other animals, and will willingly spend hours entertaining the most energetic of dogs. I realize that not all animals are eager to meet new people right away, so I am calm and respectful around new pets and will wait for them to come to me if they are nervous at first. I am timely and keenly observant to the needs of animals, and grew up with family members who had Rottweilers and pitbulls, so I am not too scared to care for animals whose breeds may have poor reputations.
