Animals have always been a constant source of a happiness in my life. For a year and 1/2, I volunteered at my local animal shelter. From dogs small to large, I gave them walks and had playtime in the yard. I was able to take them home for the day so they could experience some time in a home outside of the shelter. After that, I started fostering puppies before they were able to be adopted. That involved feeding the, grooming them, playing with them, and cleaning up their messes. And I loved every minute! Growing up with pets all my life, I understand how hard it is to leave them while going to work or on vacation. With Rover, I can help others who feel the same way and let them be reassured that their furry friend will never be alone!
