Welcoming to any size or breed of any dog or cat! I do not currently own any dogs or cats, but had one dog in the past when I was younger for many years. I have taken care of not just dogs and cats, but have also taken care of horses, chickens, and ducks! I am available almost all of the time, but please request a booking as soon as possible as I do fill up quickly! If I house sit for you, I will send updates and pictures throughout the stay (usually 1x/day or every other day at night to recap on how the day went). I've taken care of friend's dogs and cats countless amounts of times (both overnight stays and daily check-ins). Currently, I work at a horse barn (where my horse is located) during the weekdays (M-F) and I am out of the house from 6 am-12 pm, but depending on what duties I have to do around the barn that day I usually leave early, so I can go and care for your pets if needing a specific midday care (for drop-ins and house sittings specifically, if needing medications during the day). Usually once I am home from working though, I'm in the house until the next morning unless needing to go out to get food. I’m not able to walk very long distances because of past/current knee and back injuries, but I’ve been known to play with dogs until they're tired (whether that be throwing balls, playing tug of war, etc.). I can, however take short walks (max of 15-20 min) if your pup is needing some outside activity time that’s not in backyard! I am very precise with instructions and make sure that all are perfected to the owner's preference before you arrive back home (it does help if instructions & house duties are written down/printed out just so there is no confusion or multiple question asking once away from your animals).
