Pet care experience
Hi! I have been in Austin now for 3yrs and my favorite part is still how pet friendly it is here! I love that almost everyone has a fur baby, petting all the dogs at Zilker, and seeing all the cute kitties in windows. It is truly a pet lover’s paradise here :) I absolutely love animals and have been caring for them in one way or another since I was a child. I grew up with cats, dogs, and bunnies my entire childhood. I adopted my own cat during undergrad and then my dog once I moved to Austin. I watch my friend’s pets often and genuinely love going on long walks, to the park or greenbelt, and cuddles. It does not feel like a job or chore to me. It is what I look forward to most. I am working on my masters degree full-time FROM HOME, which means I have so much time to provide services :) I would love to meet your pets and give them the extra TLC they deserve. On a side note, I am also happy to bring in your mail and tend to your plants if you are out of town.

Victoria was my first pet sitter on Rover and could not have asked for a better experience! She was communicative from the start and through my pet's stay. She sent me tons of photos and updates, and I never worried about my pet's safety or happiness with her. I would definitely go back to her in the future!

I do not have any breed preferences. I care more about how well your dog walks on the leash and if there are any aggression or behavioral issues. I genuinely love all types of dogs (and animals), but I am quite petite and expecting ? so if your dog is huge and jumps AND/OR pulls a lot/tries to go after other animals then it might not be the best fit during this time. Also, please let me know about any medications, allergies, favorite/least favorite things to do, etc. so there are no surprises :) I would prefer your pet to be house trained, but I understand that most puppies aren’t, and I am more than happy to work around that and help them learn :) Please be aware that I do have a (super friendly, playful) dog and cat of my own.
A typical day
I can take your dog for long walks along the greenbelt (are they a swimmer? Me too!) or in safe neighborhoods, to the park for some fetch and running, or/and to the dog park of your preference so they can socialize with other dogs. If you have a puppy or just super energetic dog, I will always do my best to tire them out so they can have the rest of their day to relax & snooze :) Oh, and they will never go without tons of pets & cuddles when they’re with me!
