I am an experienced veterinary technician who has a remarkable awareness for animal behavior and needs. Not only will I absolutely shower your pets with tender love and play until the cows come home, I will also be vigilant and attentive to their body language, eating/movement patterns, and other behaviors essential to their well-being. I have been a pet sitter/parent for 6 years now, and it is truly a light in my life. I am a deeply empathetic, caring, joyful individual dedicated to ensuring the best possible experience for you and your pets.

Vic house-sat for us while we were out of town and took care of our dog and cat. Vic did a fantastic job, kept the house clean, played with the pets, and even brought in our mail and packages. Victoria sat with our two pups who are both finicky eaters, and one of them is special needs due to medical issues and takes a great deal of medication. Victoria was great with our dogs and made a great effort to understand their needs and quirks! They ate well for her and the dog who needed medication took it easily from her. She communicated regularly, which eased my mind and sent just the right amount of pictures! I could plainly see how happy and relaxed our dogs were! When we returned home, our house was exactly as we had left it. Victoria followed all of my instructions for care of the dogs. I will definitely have her sit again, and I would highly recommend her to anyone looking for any type of animal care!

A typical day
I am all about letting your pet lead: we will stop to smell all the intriguing smells, carefully say hello to other furry friends we may run into along the way, and generally have a grand old time. And yes, we will pause for as many grassy rolls as desired. We will sprint, jump, twirl, cuddle, and shake our booties together! I am an experienced tug of war player as well, with two Boston Terriers of my own.

Availability
I am currently a student at UMass Amherst studying Sustainable Food and Farming as well as English, so generally speaking, the bulk of my availability is over the weekend for longer visits/sitting opportunities, and shorter visits before/after/between classes during the week.
