Victoria is an extremely loving and caring person who has a great love of dogs. She is gentle and loving towards them and they seem to instinctively know she is a safe person to be with. She has a very quiet and calm demeanor, which is especially wonderful for anxious or nervous dogs. Last summer, Victoria helped our local group who took in a number of beagles who were recently released from a biomedical research lab. They arrived in our hometown in a van, after a long journey, and needed to be bathed, checked out by a vet, and mostly held, socialized, and loved. Victoria volunteered her time, holding, petting and loving them all - as best she could with so many of them running free around her feet! I don't know who enjoyed the experience more - the beagles or Victoria! She came to my home to visit one of the beagles I took in to foster (and eventually adopt). This particular dog was very nervous and frightened. Victoria held her for what was easily over an hour - just petting her and being there for her. I have no doubt this helped our little beagle become the brave soul she now is. :) Victoria, simply put, is a wonderful person with a big heart. Any dog would be lucky to have her as a friend!
