Pet care experience
I'm a 29 year old living in DTLA. I have a strong background in animal care and biology and absolutely love pups of all shapes and sizes. In my past I have worked with several local animal rescue orgs as well as volunteering at the Santa Monica shelter. Professionally I work as a freelance Production Manager but use Rover to supplement my income in the down-time. As well as providing top quality in home or drop in care for your pooch, I can also provide basic obedience training at no extra cost. I work with dog's natural behaviors and offer rewards based on repeated success. I live in a large loft in the Arts District. Larger dogs are amenable for overnight stays but please know I have no yard. I do, however, have a lovely sunny roof deck and am more than happy to take pup out for a walk whenever necessary. I look forward to meeting you and your pup!

Victoria loves animals more than she loves most humans. She's one of the most capable people I know, and is a very caring soul. She has fostered many pets in her time, and pet sit for many friends, Including my two pups, who I love dearly. I would trust her with them any day.
I had a rescue cat that needed a temporary home, barely a month old and very much in need of a safe place before we could find the cat a permanent home. Victoria was an awesome foster home for the kitten, great at balancing affection, teaching, and discipline given in a careful and effective but loving way when - as kittens tend to do - the little one acted up. For a month the cat was well cared for, with regular reports on status as well as pictures for me and the eventual home the cat was going to. She has the perfect balance of animal care but also respect for the owner of the animal!

I generally like to know my clients, both human and animal, so a few brief words about who you are and what your dog responds well to would be wonderful. I do need to know about any allergies, as well as aggression issues well in advance. I have no breed preference, but prefer to only look after one large dog at a time to prevent liability.
A typical day
Dogs staying at my residence will enjoy walks in Downtown LA's Arts District. Depending on your dog's activity level there is a short walk to a local dog park as well as few longer walks to larger nearby parks. If being hired to walk around your neighborhood I would love to know if your pup has a favorite route!
