I have been caring for dogs and cats my whole life. I grew up in a house that always had at least a dog and cat, usually a rabbit or two, some gerbils and maybe a turtle or fish too for good measure. I love all living things and I love being outside enjoying nature so it makes sense that animals and I get along. I've been actively dog-sitting for family and friends for several years now in the Houston area, as well as in Austin and surrounding areas when I lived there. I've done mostly over night, long term sitting, that included plant care and other things needing done around the house while my clients were away. I enjoy these types of jobs because you get to know the animals and create a special bond with them. I genuinely enjoy interacting with animals and love to take photos and send updates to "parents". I keep in touch as much or as little as you like to ensure that you don't worry about a thing while you're away from home.

I cannot express how much we appreciated Victoria! Our sweet pup is a rescue and super attached to us so I was worried how he would do with a 'stranger' looking after him. Victoria made me feel so confident our sweet Cavelier King Charles was well taken care of. She sent me daily updates (sometimes twice a day) along with pics and was forthright when he was feeling sad. However, she reassured me she was making him feel as comfortable as possible. And finally they became good friends! I completely trusted her to stay in our house for 4 nights while we were out of town. I will definitely ask Victoria to house/dog sit for us again. She is good-hearted, down to earth and trust worthy...and great with plants! Thanks again, Victoria!!!
Victoria was awesome and my pup loved her! She sent me pictures of my fur baby every day and I came home to a happy dog! I will definitely be using her again!
