Dog & cat lover! Please pick me :)

Pet care experience

Hello! I have always had animals in my life and am used to large dogs in the home. I currently have a short haired tortoise shell cat named Olive, she is very shy and gentle and loves cuddling! She’s taught me a lot about cats since I’ve always been a huge dog person! I have cared for many different breeds of dogs and enjoyed them all. I am knowledgeable about most breed tendencies and try to take an extra consideration for this and their personality type. I would love to have my own dog but at the moment am unable to afford one so caring for others animals is my go to! Caring for them brings me immense happiness! I am an active person and enjoy taking them on hikes and providing them the exercise that they need. I am also so happy to take care of cats as well! Please feel free to ask me any questions about my services!

Victoria was a fantastic sitter for our high-maintenance dogs. Our dogs loved her! She knew we missed them, and communicated perfectly with pictures and notes. The house was in impeccable shape when we returned! Such a good decision to have her watch our babies.

We’ve used Victoria multiple times. I never stress when we go on vacation and can always tell my home and dogs have been well cared for while we were gone! Definitely recommend

Victoria was great! Watched our dogs over Christmas and kept us updated with pictures all weekend! She took great care of our dogs and our home! Even dealt with the power going out and I didn’t have to worry about a thing all weekend Would absolutely recommend to anyone!

Victoria stopped in to take care of our dog and cat while we were away for the day for my wifes birthday! She took the dog out and made sure they had plenty of water during a hot summer day! Everything was left where it was and she was respectful of our home. Would recommend her to anyone in need of a drop in visit!

I like to have a schedule for what my client is looking for, meaning what times of day and how frequently does their pet need care and what kind. I will base my visits off of this information and any special needs their animal may have. I like to make sure the clients pets can hear me and get a friendly vocal from me as I enter so they can learn who I am and become more comfortable with me as a new care taker for them! I find this helps a lot of animals especially when they may have previous trauma or behavioral issues. I like to give pets some physical affection or attention and then check their food and water and take them right outside. Each pet is different though!

Information Victoria C. would like to know about your pet

I would love to know if your dog has any behavioral issues, previous abuse and possible triggers (some dogs may be afraid of people wearing hats ect), age if they are quite young or older, health conditions and medications.

A typical day

I love to learn all the different personalities that peoples pets have! It’s important to learn their behavioral patterns in order to keep them safe and happy while their people are away! Cuddling and training are favorites of mine as well as taking them outside! I have a great vehicle, if your animal is comfortable with cars, to take them on hikes where there can be hardly anyone around or to places where they can socialize with other animals! Getting animals outside is important for their physical and mental health and it easily shows in their behavior.
