I grew up on a farm and have always owned dogs myself. My husband and I have 4 huskies right now, and we frequently hike and go to dog parks, so there's a chance you've already seen us around or even met us. We will treat your dog like our very own family member. You can expect your dog to be pampered and well cared for. With your permission, we can go to dog parks, swim at the beach, do some training, agility courses, puzzle toys, nose work, play fetch, or my personal favorite, we can play hide and seek. I have very high-energy dogs so I'm accustomed to devoting a lot of time to their exercise and care.

Victoria and Anthony were great with Buck. They kept in touch with me and I can tell Buck was well taken care of. They also were respectful of my house with not making messes - and when Buck decimated one of his stuffed toys, they cleaned it up! Really appreciate them!!

Victoria & Anthony are terrific pet & house sitters! They took care of our two pups and gave them lots of love and attention. They also took wonderful care of our home & our daughter’s geckos & hamster ?. They communicated with us regularly and sent photos which we appreciated. Our family also appreciated that Victoria & Anthony took the time to meet our pups ahead of time and they asked questions so they could meet their needs (such as how the dogs react to fireworks since they were petsitting over July 4th). Most importantly, they are flexible and helped us out when our flight home was delayed and we couldn’t get home as scheduled. Victoria & Anthony understood & made sure we didn’t have to worry & continued to take care of Bailey & Buddy until we got home. We are so happy they enjoyed our pups and cared for them as their own. Our pups miss them and we definitely will have Victoria & Anthony care for our pups again if they are available!!!
Everything was amazing! Victoria sent us updates everyday was sending us pictures and videos all the time. We will 100% use her again! Highly recommend!

I personally know how hard it can be to leave your dog when traveling, so I can send a ton of pics and videos of them. I've got a plethora of treat dispensing toys and puzzles to keep their minds active and 100 ft leads for playing at parks or beaches. I live 5 minutes from a great dog park so they can go run off leash as well. As far as medicine and treatment go, I have a lot of experience. From simply feeding medication to pulling out porcupine quills. Growing up on a farm has taught me a lot about animal care. Our oldest dog recently went through a health scare, and while she was recovering, we also learned a lot about at-home physical therapy and ways to entertain dogs on bed rest.

Does your dog get along well with other dogs? Can they be trusted off leash? What commands do you want us to practice during training time? How often should they be brushed/groomed? Does your dog like to swim? Are they allergic to anything? What is your dog's favorite activity? What is their favorite type of toy? Are they spayed/neutered? Do they have any fears/triggers? Do they need any medications? Do they have any protection against tics/fleas? Are they on a specific bathroom schedule or do they ask when they need to go out? Anything else I should know?
A typical day
I live within walking distance of 2 dog friendly beaches and a dog park. There is also a large fenced-in dog-friendly field we often walk by where we can stop to play fetch in the shade. Does your dog like watching wildlife? There are some great hiking trails around me as well. When housesitting, your dog will never be alone for more than a few hours. I will stop in to play or hangout with them throughout the day and work from your house in the evenings to keep them company. (My husband doesn't do any housesitting, he stays home to care for our own pups).

Availability
I work from home and my hours are flexible. I typically try to work in the evenings (which can be done from anywhere) and my husband works in the mornings, so there will always be someone available for your dog. They will get spoiled with all the attention. When housesitting, I stay overnight with the pups and will sleep in bed with them if they are allowed to. I also will make sure they get walks and plenty of mental stimulation from games and toys or fun outings (depending on what they are allowed to do).
