Hello! My name’s Victor & I’m a musician & data professional living in Prospect Heights. I am a reliable and responsive communicator, ready to answer any questions/concerns you might have regarding your pet. I grew up with a dog in my home since I was ten years old, and I spent my last year of college using Rover in my off-campus apartment. I took care of numerous dogs in my apartment over the course of nine months. I've been waiting walking dogs in New York since 2017 and love meeting new dogs! Before visits, I request the following information: - Any relevant preexisting health/medical conditions the dog might have. - Relevant behavioral information - Telephone, email, cell phone, and such other means to reach the caregivers in the event of an emergency. - Provide name, telephone number, and location of animal's usual veterinarian.

My foster dog Raj, from Wiggly tails Animal Rescue, really liked Victor, I think they bonded almost instantly. Even though Raj barked initially, he rolled over within 20mins. Victor has a calm, peaceful vibe that I think Raj picked up on. Looking forward to booking Victor for all my fosters!
Victor was a great with my dog! He was in constant communication with me, sending photos and letting me know when he left my apartment. Not to mention he was available last minute! I highly recommend Victor and look forward to using his services again.
Victor is a great fit for Rover! As a former Rover caretaker myself, I have often relied on Victor for help with caring for dogs, cats, and small pets. Additionally, he has provided excellent care for my own pets, including a rat with special needs who required round the clock attention and special medication. Apart from being generally responsible and reliable, it seems that Victor's strength in petsitting lies in creating trustful bonds between him and the animal. He's especially great with high energy pups! Long walks and tug of war are right down Victor's ally! Couldn't recommend him enough.
Victor is a wonderful petsitter! I have had numerous experiences with Victor as a cat sitter and he has always been caring, responsible, and professional. I never have to worry when I'm away! I have also seen Victor take care of other pets such as dogs and rodents and he adapts well to different needs of each individual pet. I would highly recommend!

A typical day
I aim to meet your dog where they’re at. If it feels like they want to play I’m happy to run around with them or play fetch. If they seem more cuddly I’m happy to give a lil doggo massage. What’s important to me is keeping a watchful eye for nonverbal cues and respecting their space.
