My happiest days start with a long walk with the dog, then maybe a swim with the dog, then some grooming or petting, followed by snuggling while reading. I don't have a dog of my own anymore, and I only babysit one dog at a time so I can give them the individualized attention they crave. (unless you have multiple dogs in your household). I like to send daily emails with pictures to document your dog's experience (ie, their doggy vacation). I'm known in the neighborhood as the Dog Whisperer, because I have babysat most of the neighborhood dogs at one time or another, and I schedule my day around their needs. I have experience with puppies and senior dogs. I will take them on a long walk in the morning and another walk in the early evening - the length of the walk depends on the size of the dog, but for med-large breeds we usually walk an hour each time. I've informally studied dog behavior and understand "dog speak" for labradors, goldens, and doodles.
