I have years of experience raising dogs and I've taken several obedience classes. Our dog Lady has been Good Citizen Certified as well. The longest we've cared for a dog is 3 weeks, the shortest is a weekend. We've cared for dogs as small as YorkiPoos and as large as Labs and Weimaraners. We’ve cared for puppies as young as 8 weeks and dogs into their senior years. We have a Pit/Lab mix 10 year old - Lady - who is full of energy and loves playing with others. Our home has a small yard, but the fenced dog park is literally just a walk across the street and we visit it every day. If your pooch is friendly with others, we'd love to care for him/her!

Vicky and her family were amazing! Our pup was well cared for and they sent picture and text updates. At first I was very apprehensive to leave our pup with someone we didn’t know, once I met Vicky and her family I was completely at ease. We will definitely go back!

My dog absolutely loved her stay with Vicky's family. She and the family dog, Lady, became fast friends. The household was set up well for a dog who is 50% playful and 50% snoozy lap dog. They made sure she got exercise, cuddles, and quiet time. Vicky sent photos and updates each day, which was comforting. We'll definitely board with Vicky and family again.

Dog must play well with others and be good around children. We’d also appreciate knowing any “problem” behavior the dog has that we can be aware of and perhaps help with. For puppies under 1 year, we’d like you to provide puppy potty pads, as accidents tend to happen in a new environment.
A typical day
Our dog sleeps in our bedroom on her dog bed. If your dog is potty trained, they can sleep in a dog bed in our room as well, otherwise we'd like them to be in a crate overnight.
