DAYTIME WALKING CLIENTS: I am fully booked M-F from 10a-2:30 with walks. OVERNIGHT CLIENTS: I do not work outside of dog care - for overnight sits, I will be gone for a few hours (between 4-6, typically 9:30a - 2:30p) during the day for other daytime dog walks/potty breaks. I offer any of the following services in the N. King Co & Snohomish Co. within a 5 mi radius of my home in North Lynnwood (about a mile from Ash Way P&R): - Overnight dog sitting / care in your home - Dog walking - Dog sitting during the day in your home (potty breaks, feeding, sitting, etc.) - Transport (to/from daycare, vet, groomer, etc) - Cat sitting; feeding, litter scoop, playtime I grew up with dogs and since 2001 have always had 1-3 dogs. We currently have 2 large dogs. I'm inspired to care for dogs in their own home because this is what I want for my own dogs. We are empty nester's & my husband works from home, so our dogs are not left alone when I'm caring for other people's pets. I have volunteered at a local animal sanctuary & loved it. I am an advocate for awareness & change in BSL / Dog Fighting and have gone to Olympia for support of bills for dog abuse & spay/neuter assistance. I was in the corporate world for 20+ years & bring my experience & sensibility from years of working, life, raising a step-son & taking care of our dogs. NOTE: overnight rate includes a 24hr period with a grace period of 1-2 hrs. For time beyond the grace period, additional fee can be discussed. Thank you in advance for the opportunity to know & care for your pets !! Why I love dog sitting I have been a dog lover all my life and have loved on family & friend's dogs since I was a child. My husband and I adopted our first dog (Paris) in 2001 on a camping trip. A family was giving away 5 puppies at Slim's Market in Naches. From that point, our lives have not been the same - in a good way. A few years later, we adopted a choc lab (Sadie) from my mom who could no longer care for her. Paris & Sadie loved each other. We had 4 love filled years with Sadie before she passed from mast cell cancer in 2007. Paris passed at 12 y/o in May 2013. Aside from losing my dad, I've not felt such losses in my life. We now have Lily (choc lab) & Otis (Catahoula mix) who we rescued from Pasado's when I was volunteering there. Happy to say we're continuing with the dog love in this house. Dogs are my heart love. I can't go anywhere without gravitating to dogs. Otis is a bit possessive of me and his home. Although we are working to socialize him more, we do not board dogs in our home. I am diligent about being proactive to ensure safety and happiness with our dogs as well as others.
