I raised dachshunds for at least 12 yrs. As of right now I am taking care of my daughters 2 dachshunds while they are stationed in Hawaii. I have several dogs and cats myself. Dogs that get exercised are much happier. They love the attention when you play with them. They love treats and hugs and kisses but most of all they are your babies and a family member to the people they are with.
