It can be stressful when you have to travel and leave your best bud back home. I would love the chance to spoil your cat or dog while you have to be away. Additionally, I'm a marathon runner and I would love to take your active dog with me on a training run! I also love a nice leasurely walk with a slower paced friend. I grew up with a big black lab named Buck, and a variety of cats over the years. I've pet sit for various friends and family and I feel that I get along with most dogs and cats that I meet. I'm especially good at gaining the trust of shy cats.

Veronica was so great with our kitties and sent such thorough updates each visit! The girls were so clearly well cared for and Veronica is a very thoughtful pet sitter. I can’t recommend her enough and will absolutely book her again next time we are out of town!
Veronica was awesome - would highly recommend. She was very professional, communicative, and great with our two cats. One cat is quite shy, and she was super helpful in getting him to be comfortable with her and even friendly after the first couple visits. The cats would agree, very positive experience all around!

It's very important for me to know about a dog's temperament, especially around other dogs. I have some experience running with reactive dog who don't do well around other dogs or new people. Additionally if you dog has any injuries or chronic pain I want to avoid stressing them with too long or fast of a walk.
A typical day
I like to let your dog set the pace of our walks, and decide where they way to explore within reason. I think their walk is probably best part of any dog's day and I want them to get the most out of it. If they want to run, we'll run. If they want to stop and sniff, we'll do that too. I try to be attentive to their mood and their preferences as well as what's going on around them to keep them safe and happy on every outting.

I work from home and have a high level of flexibility in my hours. I would love to take your dog out for a mid-day break, or swing by in the evenings to check on your pet.
