I have always loved animals. I grew up with multiple cats and one dog in my childhood home. When I was 17 when I got my very own puppy; Mojo, a weenier chihuahua who I still have to this day - 12 years later. He is the most amazing doggins ever (every dog is the most amazing dog ever <3 ) Then 5 years later I got Mr. Meeseeks (Me-seaks), my crazy energetic Jack Russell. He has sooo much energy and loves his mom very much. I love taking them to off-leash dog parks or to the off-leash beach (curently on hold because of the virus going around) . I enjoy taking them on hikes during the summer (they do not like the rain). They enjoy wrestling each other and running around the apartment, playing Tug-of-War, or doing brain stimulation activities. My goal is to make animals my full time job. I would love to enjoy going to "work" every day and being surrounded by furry companions. Or not so furry ones if you own a hairless animal- you never know. I enjoy going for walks, soaking in the sun, smelling the fresh air or fresh rain. All things your animals and I can enjoy together while you can get work done or relax knowing your baby is in good hands. I can take multiple dogs as long as they are from the same household. I can handle bigger dogs, dogs that pull, dogs that are aggressive towards others. I have lots of experience dealing with that, and know how to avoid others or cause a distraction for the dog I am walking.

Veronica took excellent care of the 2 dogs in her care at my home. She kept in contact with me daily sending comments and pictures. She went above and beyond to get my reclusive dog to eat and socialize. My home was cleaned and in perfect order when we returned. Book Veronica! You will be satisfied!
Absolutely incredible experience! My husband and I are extremely particular about our dogs and were nervous trusting someone with their well being for 10 days. Veronica was in touch for the weeks leading up to their stay as well as throughout the duration. I received daily pictures and updates....being able to see them so well adjusted was also very helpful. She was super professional and even asked questions about some of the little quirks my pups have, whicheven further confirmed how attentive she was with them. The attention she pays is outstanding and we are beyond grateful. We will absolutely be returning to her!
Veronica was great as usual. Our pet loved spending time with her. She gave us frequent updates of her time with our pet.

I am always keeping an eye on any little creature I am around as I know they can not fend for themselves, have very curious minds, or big attitudes. I always leash when in the house, before I open any doors. I keep an eye out for any people, dogs, or other potential issues that we may come across when walking so I can avoid them. Always walk on sidewalks or against traffic with dogs on the inside, furthest from traffic. I keep my area or the client's area clean to prevent any possible hazards.

Does your animal have any special needs or behaviors I need to know about such as: Boarding: Medications? Do they have and kind of anxieties? Are they potty trained? Do they get along with other dogs? Can I leave them alone for a short amount of time if need be? Do they chew on things they shouldn't? Do they bark? If it is a holiday, how do they do with fireworks? Anything you would like me to know or that I need to know? Walking: Do they get along with other dogs? Or should I avoid them? Do they pull? Do they bark at other dogs and people? Do they eat random things? Are they allowed to munch on grass? Anything you would like me to know or that I need to know?
A typical day
I am looking to walk dogs mostly so it will be a lot of walking a route and letting them smell while still maintaining good walking speed. If I am allowed to give training treats than I will be doing training while walking, such as heel, come (the leash will have a little slack, but I will not let them go), sit, wait to cross the street, ect. If you have a hiking trail in the area, I would love to be able to walk to that and enjoy that with your doggy.

Availability
I work flex hours so I need a week or more in advance notice so I can schedule the proper hours for myself at my regular job, but besides that I cab be available at whatever time I need to be. I am very accommodating. I am mostly open for walks/drop ins or house sitting but we can discuss if you need me to do one of the other services.
