I'm a dog person AND a cat person! While I am an aspiring canine behaviorist and trainer, I do have three spoiled cats at home myself. I'm a long-time dog owner and my training experience is always evolving the more I get my hands on different breeds, sizes and personalities. Walking dogs is one way I study behavior and grow my own skills and that translates really well into the dogs home life. I also have experience caring for dogs with ailments (e.g. stomach problems, allergies). I love to play and go on walks, and I make sure to pay total attention to your pet to make sure no fights ensue or that they don’t eat anything they are not supposed to. I live very close to a nice dog park so I don't mind taking your dog there if there's not much walking space near your home. I will absolutely take your dog to the dog beach while you're working 😜 I'm really good at giving your pup as much activity as possible so they can feel more relaxed while they're home alone. Keeping a routine is very important to me when caring for animals. For cat visits I usually have some play time for the first 15 minutes and then some cuddling and grooming for the last 15 minutes before I finally feed them. Sometimes I bring my own cat toys to make sure your cat gets as much activity as possible, and if they're alone I'll bring a radio so they don't feel so lonely during the daytime. I like to keep the pet owner involved with at least three pictures a day. I try to stay observant in order to catch any changes that might require a vet visit. I'm very detail-oriented and meticulous about following any special instructions such as feeding instructions or medication instructions. I also try my best to leave your home better than I found it!
