I grew up with dogs my whole life; my family had dogs when I was born we have had four dogs over the course of my lifetime. When I moved to New York City I knew I couldn’t get a dog as a consultant, but my boyfriend and I started doing Rover to dog-sit over the weekend. In covid, it’s even more fun to dog-sit as I am home all the time!

Veronica was absolutely amazing! I just moved to New York and was stressed about how my dog, Harry, would adapt, and as soon as I met Veronica I knew Harry was in good hands. I was constantly impressed with how well she took care of Harry. She is a great communicator. You can tell she really cares about dogs! I would 10/10 recommend her.
Veronica is an incredible responsible, thoughtful, and caring individual. She grew up with multiple dogs and cares for them deeply, so she also knows what it takes to properly take care of animals. She will watch your pup like its her own.
Veronica has been a dog lover her whole life. Having grown up with rescue dogs, she’s got a very strong connection with dogs of all kinds. Veronica is highly responsible and completely in tune with their needs, whether that be regular walks, giving food, treats or meds, ample water, and lots of belly rubs. I would never hesitate to have Veronica care for our dogs; and I’m pretty picky about who does 😏.

I will of course adjust to the owner’s preferred routine, but I typically take dogs out first thing in the morning, last thing before bed, and a couple times throughout the day. If the dog is especially athletic and the owner approves, I can also take him/her on my light evening runs! Food is based on owner recommendation and dog’s routine. Ideally the owner brings treats that work for the dog, but I usually have some around if not.
