Pet care experience
I’ve been a dog person and have lived with dogs for as long as I can remember. In 2021, my partner and I took in our Romanian rescue dog Milo, a gentle little boy who loves people & other dogs. Because I would only want my dog in the best hands if I needed a sitter, I will always treat them like my own, keep them happy and entertained and keep you posted with regular pupdates throughout the day.

Foxy was very excited to go back to Vera's after her first visit. We received plenty of photo updates and Vera was very flexible with our drop off / pick up times.
Left my dog with Vera over christmas holidays. She kept me updated daily despite the season and my guy was only too healthy and happy when I went to pick him up. Very pleased.
Orla is just home from another lovely stay with Vera. As soon as the car stopped outside her home Orla started frantically scrabbling to get out. She pulled her way up the path, into the house and disappeared without as much as a wolf or lick goodbye!! Obviously she was very happy to be visiting again and couldn’t wait to say hi to Milo! A big thank you to Vera for taking such good care of our gorgeous girl, and for the regular updates! That is looking forward to seeing you again soon, as soon as she can persuade us to book another trip! 🐶🤣

I live in a nice, spacious house near Burley Park in LS4. We have a securely fenced front and back garden where your pup can play and relax with our dog Milo. I have a car, so I often go on long walks around Meanwood Park or Roundhay Park.

If your pet has any health conditions, fears or disorders, let‘s have a chat about it and see if it works. Since I have one dog at home, it would also be important to know if they don’t get on with other dogs. If you’re not sure, we can set up a meeting first to make sure both dogs are comfortable.
A typical day
Every dog is different so I find it important to get to know them and their needs to know what will keep them happy on a regular day, whether they like to play, run or chill outside in the garden. If they’re physically fit and don’t mind car trips, I‘ll happily take them on bigger walks to Roundhay or Meanwood Park, where I often take my dog.
