It was the first for us leaving our car home alone and were somewhat uncomfortable with it. Veena was great right from the Meet and Greet. She had a checklist of questions we never considered. Our cat even emerged from one of her hiding spots to check out Veena. Veena's Drop-in Visit reports were very detailed, including before and after pictures of food, water bowls and litter box contents! Veena also took great pictures/videos, including commentary of our cat engaging with her. Veena also showed great initiative and helped out with other household matters. All in all, Veena removed all the stress of leaving home and we very much looked forward to getting her Rover Reports.

Veena was very kind and proactive with all stuff concerning our pets. she helped us more than required she did everything very consciously and we were completely confident about her services and pets caring. Excellent communication during all our holidays. Our cats couldn’t be in better hands! Thanks for everything you did and sorry for the inconveniences (snow storm and pipi-cat’s accident for example).

This was our first attempt at Doggy Daycare for our 8.5 month old cockapoo. We reached out to Veena due to the overwhelming amount of positive reviews, and after our incredible experience with her from pre booking all the way to the final pickup, we understand why the reviews are so high. Her communication exceeded our expectations with 15 minute updates including pictures and videos. She was creative in keeping Hunter busy with games and stimulating activities, took him for walks with summary data of where they went and how long, plus encouraged safe playing with the doggy co-host, Buster. Hunter can have a lot of energy and be tough to handle, but Veena always found a way to channel it in incredible ways. We’re thrilled about the experience and already have inquired about future date bookings. If you need a sitter, Veena and her family, who all contributed to the efforts throughout the days, are your go to. Thank you Veena!

We asked Veena and her family to board our young (1year old) dog Wally during our overnight vacation. Veena was on top of the updates and sent us as many as she could throughout the day and evening. We had the opportunity to see how Wally was adapting, learning, and having fun. She was creative in helping and motivating him to eat his meals when he would want to play instead. Wally loves playing outside and had plenty of fun in their large well fenced backyard and their large deck provided plenty of space for some sunbathing. We would definitely be comfortable with Veena and her family boarding Wally for a weeks vacation!

Information Veena N. would like to know about your pet

Things I would like to know before babysitting a dog: How many walks or bathroom breaks the dog needs? How often and amount of food and treats your dog consumes? What activities does your dog like to do? (Example playing catch, running in the backyard) Does your dog have any medical needs, allergies or routines I should follow? How friendly your dog is with other dogs? Are there any dog house rules you'd like me to maintain while I baby sit your dog? (For example: no pets on furniture)

A typical day

I do the following things below for my own dog and will definitely do the same activities with your dog to help them feel more at home while you are away! -I take my dog on different walk each day that way he can experience a different environment. I do this by walking a different route or driving him (in a safe dog seat belt) to a nearby park. -I give my dog chopped up fresh fruits and vegetables appropriate for his size and weight (that are safe for dogs to eat). My dog likes to eat apples, bell peppers and kale. -I kept a staircase for my dogs' viewing spot to protect his joints. -On cold or rainy days I make sure my dog is all bundled up for his walk. -In the backyard I let my dog run free for a game of tag or fetch.
