I know first-hand how important a dog is to a family, and how difficult it can be to be away from them. That’s why I became a dog sitter: to provide pups with a safe and loving place to stay when their owners are away. No one likes to put their dog in a kennel when they leave, so I’m here to make sure your pooch is as happy as can be! There’s just nothing better than getting to see a dog thrive under your care. We are a young family with a well-trained, loving, 5-year-old Vizsla. We love having welcoming new furry friends into our house! On top of our own dog, we do have professional experience taking care of dogs. We have multiple training qualifications in advanced obedience, ability, and nose work (scent tracking) through the Milwaukee Dog Training and the Canine Training Association. The training process was a great experience and it is safe to say that we learned a great deal going through it! My wife and I are both home during the weekdays, so we’re a great match for dogs that are used to having a human presence around them. During the day, I start work a little later, which means I can play and take the dogs out for a morning potty break and breakfast. I like to play fetch, tug-of-war, and collect up some prized branches and sticks! My wife works from home and spoils them with love! We love having dogs around the house, so there is no shortage of affection to go around. We love our neighborhood, it’s a quiet area named West Laurel. It’s a older established neighborhood but has great paved sidewalks, friendly neighbors and plenty of dogs to meet along the way. We have a large backyard, although unfenced, it’s a great, quiet place for dogs to explore if your dog is happy staying on a long lead.
