My name is Vanessa and I have had a special place in my heart for dogs ever since I was a child. I have a dog of my own for 12 years now, and I love her with every ounce of my heart. I also have a cat, so I really love animals of all kind. I work at North Shore AnimaI League as a dog walker/kennel associate, so I definitely know the ropes! I can’t wait to see where this dog journey takes me and couldn’t be more thrilled to take care of the doggies and play with them, run with them, eat with them and hang out with them. I will make them happier than happy because all dogs deserve that. I am available on Tuesdays and Fridays, considering those are my only two off days from work. Thank you!

Vanessa has been a animal and most especially a dog lover since I’ve known her, it’s something we’ve bonded over. She’s accepting to any and every kind of dog. Every dog she comes in contact with gets the same amount of love, understanding and patience.

Let me know in advance if your dog needs a little extra attention in any regard: ex if your dog is special needs. I have been around a few special needs dogs at NSALA, so it’s not new to me. Don’t be afraid to let me know, so I can make sure you and your pup are comfortable at all times.
A typical day
I myself love to take walks, so I would be more than happy to walk your dog around the neighborhood to get some sniffs in, and even go for a jog if they have a lot of energy and enjoy running! We can also do little games around the house like sniff games to enhance mental stimulation.

Availability
I currently work at North Shore Animal League and Dans Pet Care as a Supervisor. I work at Dans FT and NSALA PT. My off days are Sundays and Monday. I am available to house sit any day of the week as long as you are aware I will be gone 8 hours of the day for work on Tues-sat. My work hours are mornings: 6:30am-3pm. I can do drop ins and dog walks on Sundays and Mondays, anytime.
