Pet care experience
I have taken care of pets through word of mouth for about 8-9 years and have been on Rover for over a year. I can take care of any pet really as long as the owner can help communicate their needs.

This is a rebook with Vanessa and that’s for a reason! I feel very comfortable leaving my 10yo German shepherd with her. She sent lots of pictures and let me know how their day was going while I was away. He is not very good with other dogs so I’m very hesitant to leave him with people because of that but I don’t have to worry with Vanessa! Would definitely recommend her to anyone
Vanessa was great with my dog and took him on a long walk! Super responsive over text and communication. She also let me know how he did on the walk and refilled his water! Would definitely leave my fur-baby in her care again.
Vanessa was awesome! Our puppies loved her, our house was cleaner than when we left, and she spent more time with them, then was scheduled! She’s a fantastic provider, and we will definitely use her again, five stars! I would recommend her to anyone.

My current apartment doesn’t allow dogs so I can only stay in clients homes when sitting. I can also help take care of minor chores then such as making sure the garbage can is out or watering plants.* not a big fan of biters since I had an infected dog bite last year.

I love all animals, but like to have any information needed ahead of time so I can take care of them. If they have any medical needs I need to have specific instructions. I adore when owners give me information about their personality quirks as well so I can make sure I am making them feel as comfortable as possible.
A typical day
I love taking nice walks with dogs either around their usual neighborhood route or checking out a fun park or something nearby. When at home snuggle time on the couch is what I do this for to get my dog fix since I don’t have a pup of my own.

Availability
I taught for 9 years and am currently in a different role within a school. The schedule varies a lot so it’s a little harder to match up with my availability during the school year but my summer is super free. Please, check-in with me to see if I can make my schedule work for you, I work every other weekday and weekend pretty much. Sometimes I’m available the entire day, but I can usually spend the night even if I’m not free during the day.
