Vanessa arrived punctually and totally prepared for a first meeting with our dog: she was armed with "pup-eroni" sticks that instantly won Zoe over. This first meeting coincided with a house-sitting for a night with Zoe, so it was important that Zoe and Vanessa like each other. Vanessa was gentle and sweet with Zoe and it was evident that, although Zoe was a little confused about who was staying and who was going, she felt at ease with Vanessa. Zoe isn't normally super affectionate with new people, but she was up on the couch with Vanessa very quickly, as though Vanessa had always been there. It set my heart and my husband's heart at ease as we left for the evening for a concert. Vanessa is kind, patient, responsive, polite, courteous, and attentive. She asked us about do's and don'ts of Zoe but also of our house. She is very respectful and easygoing and, above all, a great friend to our dog. Thank you, Vanessa! We are happy that we can count on you.
