Hello, My name is Vanessa. I have been a dog lover my entire life and excited to be able to share the love. I currently live in the Alexandria / Arlington area - conveniently right off 395. I have a beautiful 1,200 sq ft ground level apartment, warm and welcoming for all pets; porch double doors open up to my patio and fenced in grassy area, allowing for easy and frequent potty breaks. I am currently employed at a reputable government contracting firm, in which i work remotely several days a week, providing me a flexible schedule to accommodate to any special needs, or requests, you or your pet may have. I know the importance behind your pet feeling “at home”; I pride myself with being their companion, while it’s family/ you are away. Vanessa was great as usual. This was the second time Owen has stayed with her and he seemed very happy and likes her a lot. I would recommend Vanessa to anyone who needs a dogsitter they can trust. Vanessa was also kind enough to drop Owen off to us when we returned from vacation. I would highly recommend Vanessa.
Sadie stayed at Vanessa's apt for two nights. Vanessa took great care if her and was very willing to pamper Sadie in the way that makes her happy, like letting her sleep on the bed. Still a pup, Sadie experiences a little separation anxiety when I leave her, but Vanessa immediately put her at ease. She sent pictures showing how content and settled in Sadie was. Vanessa communicated readily and was flexible, especially considering that I dropped Sadie off Christmas Day. I would not hesitate to have her watch Sadie again.
Socrates had a great time with Vanessa and came back happy as can be! She was very accommodating to pick up and drop off times and sent tons of photos of Socrates during his stay with her!
Vanessa was great! She was very responsive and communicated well. She kept me up to date while I was away with pics of my pug. Owen the pug really loved her too. I would highly recommend Vanessa if you need a dog sitter.
